USDT vs USDC
USDT (Tether) leads on liquidity and exchange coverage. USDC (Circle) leads on reserve transparency and regulatory standing. Both target a 1:1 USD peg. The practical difference is where you trade and how the issuer proves reserves.
Tether publishes attestations; Circle publishes a more frequent reserve breakdown and sits closer to US banking rails. That is why USDC often scores higher on transparency in our model even when USDT wins on depth.
Network choice (ERC-20, TRC-20, Solana) changes withdrawal fees more than the ticker does. We do not invent a network fee we did not copy from a withdrawal screen. Peg risk is not zero on either name.
